Sabine Trinkaus

Sabine Trinkaus grew up in northern Germany behind a dike and studied in the Rhineland. After years of teaching and travelling internationally, she settled there. From 2007 onward, she published crime short stories, crime novels and thrillers; she also wrote radio plays and theatre pieces. Her short stories received several prizes. In 2012, she published her first crime novel. Her sixth novel and second thriller, “Mutter Seelen Allein,” appeared in 2019. Her work also includes a historical novel inspired by the life of the physician Henriette Hirschfeld-Tiburtius.
