Tatjana Kruse (born 1960) began publishing crime short stories in 1996 and crime novels in 2000. Her work includes the short-story collections “Klappe zu, Gatte tot” and “Kalte Platte”, as well as the series featuring Detective Siggi Seifferheld. In 1996, she received the Marlowe Award of the Raymond Chandler Society for her short story “Cool-Man schlägt zu”. She has also received the Nordfälle Prize and the Fancy Media Prize, and has been nominated several times for the Agatha Christie Prize.
