Cornelia Kuhnert (born 1956) studied history and German in Hanover and worked as a teacher for many years, including in Burgdorf. From 2005 onward, she published crime stories, crime novels, and anthologies. Together with Christiane Franke, she developed the East Frisia crime series featuring village policeman Rudi, mail carrier Henner, and teacher Rosa; ten volumes were published by Rowohlt. Her other works include the nonfiction books »111 Orte in Hannover, die man gesehen haben muss« and »111 Orte rund um Hannover, die man gesehen haben muss«, as well as the crime novels »Tanz in den Tod« and »Tödliche Offenbarung«.
