Christian Linker, born in 1975, studied theology in Bonn and worked in children’s and youth politics before turning to writing. He primarily wrote young adult novels and children’s books, which received numerous awards. Under the pseudonym Magnus Mahlmann, he also published crime novels featuring the investigating priest Laurenz Broich.
