Judith Merchant

Judith Merchant studied literary studies and worked as a creative-writing instructor at the University of Bonn. She received the Friedrich Glauser Prize twice for her short stories. She first became known for her Rhine crime series, which includes such titles as “Nibelungenmord,” “Loreley singt nicht mehr,” and “Rapunzelgrab.” Her thriller “ATME!” was published by Kiepenheuer & Witsch in 2019 and became a bestseller; “SCHWEIG!” followed in 2021.
