Wolfgang Burger

Wolfgang Burger was born in 1952 in the southern Black Forest and grew up in Bad Säckingen. He studied electrical engineering, earned a doctorate in engineering at the University of Karlsruhe, and worked there for around 35 years in senior academic and research positions. In 1995, he began writing crime novels, satirical stories and short crime fiction. He is particularly known for his Gerlach crime novels, which were nominated twice for the Friedrich Glauser Prize.
