Regina Schleheck

Regina Schleheck (born 1959) worked as a secondary-school teacher as well as a freelance author, editor, lecturer and copy editor. Since 2002, she has published short stories, fiction, novels, radio plays, poetry, plays and screenplays. Her notable works include the biographical crime novel “Der Kirmesmörder – Jürgen Bartsch.” She received numerous awards, including the Friedrich Glauser Prize for short crime fiction, the German Phantastik Prize and the Neunkirchen Crime Prize in 2024. She is the mother of five children.
