Elisabeth Kabatek

Elisabeth Kabatek (born 1966) grew up near Stuttgart. She studied English, Hispanic and political sciences in Heidelberg, Salamanca and Granada, and worked in Frankfurt am Main and Barcelona. She also worked as a translator of Spanish. She became known for her novels "Laugenweckle zum Frühstück" and "Brezeltango", which became bestsellers. Her other works include "Spätzleblues", "Zur Sache, Schätzle!", "Schätzle allein zu Haus" and "Ein Häusle in Cornwall".
