Angelika Nussberger

Angelika Nußberger (born 1963) is a German legal scholar. She taught constitutional law, international law, Eastern European law and comparative law at the University of Cologne. From 2011 to 2019, she served as a judge at the European Court of Human Rights and was its vice president from 2017 to 2019. After returning to the University of Cologne, she became director of the Academy for European Human Rights Protection.
