Ronen Steinke

Ronen Steinke, born in 1983 in Erlangen, is a legal scholar, journalist, and author. He studied law and criminology, including at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg and in Tokyo. His professional career took him to law firms, a juvenile prison, and the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in The Hague. He later worked as an editor and legal-policy correspondent for the Süddeutsche Zeitung. He became known for his biography of Fritz Bauer, which was adapted into the 2015 film The People vs. Fritz Bauer. His other books include Der Muslim und die Jüdin, Terror gegen Juden, Vor dem Gesetz sind nicht alle gleich, and Verfassungsschutz.
