Andrian Kreye

Andrian Kreye is a journalist and author of books and films. At the Süddeutsche Zeitung, he headed the feuilleton section from 2007 to 2020. Before that, he worked for many years as a correspondent in New York, reporting on the United States as well as crisis regions in Latin America, Africa, Asia, the Middle East and the Balkans. From the late 1980s onward, he followed the development of the digital world in the United States from subculture to everyday technology. His work has received, among other honors, the Theodor Wolff Prize (2019), the George F. Kennan Award for German-American Commentary (2021) and the Media Award for Digital Enlightenment (2022).
