Peter Richter

Peter Richter was born in Dresden in 1973. He worked as a culture correspondent for the Süddeutsche Zeitung, including at the newspaper’s New York bureau from 2012 to 2017. His books include Blühende Landschaften, Deutsches Haus, 89/90, Dresden Revisited, and the novel August. 89/90 was longlisted for the 2015 German Book Prize.
