Felix Brych

Felix Brych (born 1975) is a German football referee and holds a doctorate in law. He began officiating Bundesliga matches in 2004 and became a FIFA referee in 2007. From the 2009–10 season onward, he was a member of the referees’ elite group. The International Federation of Football History & Statistics named him World’s Best Referee in 2017 and 2021. In 2021, the German Football Association (DFB) also named him Referee of the Year for the fifth time. That year, Brych ended his international refereeing career.
