Zsuzsanna Gahse, born in Budapest in 1946, is an Austrian-German-Swiss writer. She grew up in Vienna and Kassel and has published literary texts, essays, and plays since 1983. Her work moves between prose and poetry, as well as between narrative and dramatic forms. Her books include “durch und durch” (2004), “Donauwürfel” (2010), “Die Erbschaft” (2013), “Schon bald” (2019), and “Bergisch teils farblos” (2021). She has received, among other distinctions, the Aspekte Literature Prize, the Adelbert von Chamisso Prize, the Italo Svevo Prize, and the Swiss Grand Prix Literatur in 2019.
