Annika Reich, born in Munich in 1973, studied philosophy and ethnology. She has published short stories, novels, and children’s books. Her works include the short story “Teflon” (2003), the novels “Durch den Wind” (2010), “34 Meter über dem Meer” (2012), “Die Nächte auf ihrer Seite” (2015), and “Männer sterben bei uns nicht” (2023), as well as the children’s books “Lotto macht, was sie will!” (2016) and “Lotto will was werden” (2018). Reich co-founded the cultural projects “WIR MACHEN DAS” and “Weiter Schreiben” and was involved in the “10 nach 8” column on ZEIT Online. In 2003, she received a working grant from the Berlin Senate.
