Nora Bossong

Nora Bossong, born in Bremen in 1982, is a German writer. She studied cultural studies, philosophy and literature or comparative literature in Berlin, Leipzig and Rome. Her work includes novels, poetry and essays. Her publications include the debut novel »Gegend« (2006), »Webers Protokoll« (2009), »Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung« (2012), »36,9 Grad« (2015), »Schutzzone« (2019) and »Reichskanzlerplatz« (2024), as well as several poetry collections. Bossong has received, among others, the Peter Huchel Prize, the Thomas Mann Prize, the Joseph Breitbach Prize, the Roswitha Prize, the Berlin Art Prize and the Elisabeth Langgässer Literature Prize. »Schutzzone« and »Reichskanzlerplatz« were shortlisted on the longlist for the German Book Prize.
