Julia Weber

Julia Weber was born in 1983 in Moshi, Tanzania, and grew up in Zurich. From 2009 to 2012, she studied creative writing at the Swiss Literature Institute in Biel. In 2012, she founded the Literaturdienst, and in 2015 she co-founded the arts action group Literatur für das, was passiert, which supports people seeking refuge. Her debut novel, Immer ist alles schön, was published by Limmat Verlag in 2017 and received the Franz Tumler Literature Prize. Her novel Die Vermengung followed in 2022.
