Katerina Poladjan

Katerina Poladjan was born in Moscow and grew up in Rome and Vienna. She published the novels »In einer Nacht, woanders«, »Vielleicht Marseille«, »Hier sind Löwen« and »Zukunftsmusik«, as well as the literary travelogue »Hinter Sibirien«, co-written with Henning Fritsch. She also wrote plays and essays. In 2015, she took part in the Days of German-Language Literature in Klagenfurt and was nominated for the Alfred Döblin Prize. »Zukunftsmusik« was shortlisted for the Leipzig Book Fair Prize and received the Rheingau Literature Prize in 2022. In 2021, she was awarded the Nelly Sachs Prize by the city of Dortmund; in 2022, she also received the Chamisso Prize Dresden.
