Slata Roschal, born in Saint Petersburg in 1992, is a German author and literary scholar. She received her doctorate from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. Her publications include the poetry collections »Wir verzichten auf das gelobte Land« (2019) and »Wir tauschen Ansichten und Ängste wie weiche warme Tiere aus« (2021), as well as the novel »153 Formen des Nichtseins« (2022), which was nominated for the German Book Prize. Roschal has received, among other distinctions, the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Literature Prize and the Bavarian Arts Promotion Award.
