Stefanie Jaksch

Stefanie Jaksch was born in Erlangen, Germany, and studied theatre and media studies as well as American literature. She worked in public relations and as a dramaturge at several German theatres, including Schauspiel Stuttgart and Theater & Orchester Heidelberg. She subsequently joined the publishing house Kremayr & Scheriau, which she headed until 2023. There, she created the essay series “übermorgen”, which received, among other distinctions, the Bruno Kreisky Award for Political Books. In 2023, she founded the cultural and literary office “In Worten”. Her most recent publication is the essay “Über das Helle”.
