Armin Steigenberger, born in Nuremberg in 1965, is a German poet and literary critic. Before pursuing a literary career, he worked as an architect. He wrote primarily poetry, as well as plays and the novel “fleck” (2002). His poetry collections include “die fortsetzung des glücks mit anderen mitteln” (2014), “das ist der abgesägte lauf der welt” (2020), “sprich: malhorndekor und barbotine” (2021, with Frank Milautzcki), and “rohherz und antikkörper” (2023). Steigenberger was co-editor of the literary magazine “außer.dem” and a member of the writers’ group Reimfrei. He received first prize at the Irseer Pegasus in 2009 and second prize at the Feldkirch Poetry Prize in 2022.
