Ann Cotten

Ann Cotten, born in Iowa, USA, in 1982, is a German-language writer and translator. Her publications include the poetry collections »Fremdwörterbuchsonette« (2007) and »Hauptwerk. Softsoftporn« (2013), the short-story collection »Der schaudernde Fächer« (2013), the verse epic »Verbannt!« (2016), and »Lyophilia« (2019). Her literary work has received several awards, including the Reinhard Priessnitz Prize (2007), the Clemens Brentano Prize (2008), the Adelbert von Chamisso Prize (2014), the Hugo Ball Prize (2017), and the Gert Jonke Prize (2021).
