Mareike Fallwickl

Mareike Fallwickl, born in 1983 in Hallein near Salzburg, is an Austrian writer. She made her literary debut in 2018 with the novel »Dunkelgrün fast schwarz«, followed in 2019 by »Das Licht ist hier viel heller«. Her novel »Die Wut, die bleibt« was published in 2022; its stage adaptation premiered at the Salzburg Festival in 2023. »Und alle so still« was published in 2024 and reached the top ten of the SPIEGEL bestseller list. Fallwickl has also worked as a freelance copywriter and editor, written a weekly newspaper column, and run a literature blog since 2009.
