David Friedrich became known through poetry slam and won the German-language championship in 2015 and 2021. He studied the cultures and languages of the Middle East at the University of Hamburg and hosted the children’s television program “Kummerkasten” on KiKA. He first performed on stage at the age of 15. From 2020 onward, he also released music; his book “doll” was also issued as a musical interpretation.
