Christine Teichmann

Christine Teichmann was born in Vienna in 1964. She is an author, slam poet, cabaret artist, and actress. Before pursuing her artistic career, she worked, among other things, as a waitress, carpenter, circus clown, harvest worker in Israel, construction manager in the Czech Republic, and au pair in the United States. She has won several poetry slam and cabaret awards and was a founding member of the acrobatics troupe Compagnie fantastique as well as a member and writer for the artists’ collective Peace Babies.
