Maik Martschinkowsky is a German author, satirist, and cabaret performer. He was a member of the Berlin reading stage Lesedüne, where he also moderated and organized poetry slams. He performed his texts on German-language stages and produced short radio plays. In 2012, he co-published the collection Über Wachen und Schlafen with other members of Lesedüne. His 2015 collection Von nichts kommt was brought together satirical short stories combining philosophical themes with humor, everyday satire, and criticism of capitalism. Further publications included Die Welt kann ein Lächeln verändern and the audio drama collection Juten Tacheles. Martschinkowsky studied philosophy.
