Sebastian Rabsahl (born 1979), known by his stage name Sebastian 23, is a German author, poetry slammer, cabaret artist and singer-songwriter. He studied philosophy and began performing in the German-language poetry-slam scene in 2000. In 2008, he won the individual title at the German-language Poetry Slam Championships in Zurich. His other distinctions include the Prix Pantheon, the St. Ingberter Pfanne, the Cloppenburger Klappklotz and the Alfred Müller Felsenburg Prize for Upright Literature, which he received in 2023. He has published several books, including the Spiegel bestseller »Hinfallen ist wie Anlehnen, nur später«, and has also worked as a presenter, guitarist and songwriter.
