Daniela Seel

Daniela Seel, born in Frankfurt am Main in 1974, worked as a poet, translator and publisher of the independent press kookbooks. Her poetry collections include “ich kann diese stelle nicht wiederfinden” (2011), “was weißt du schon von prärie” (2015) and “Auszug aus Eden” (2019). Together with Frank Kaspar, she created the radio feature “was weißt du schon von prärie” (2015). Her translations include works by Robert Macfarlane and Anne Boyer. Seel received, among other honors, the Mondsee Poetry Prize and the Friedrich Hölderlin Promotion Prize; in 2019, kookbooks received the top prize of the German Publishers’ Prize.
