Victoria Helene Bergemann

Victoria Helene Bergemann (born 1997) is a German author and poetry slam performer. She has appeared on stages in Germany and abroad since 2010 and was runner-up in the German-language U20 Poetry Slam championship, Schleswig-Holstein champion, and a three-time finalist in the Hamburg city championships. She has also received multiple awards in the “lyrix” national competition for young poets. In 2017, she supervised a poetry slam project in Georgia for the German embassy and led workshops, including in Georgia and Sweden. Her first collection, “Basti hat behauptet, dass er gehört hätte, wie meine Mutter gesagt hat, dass ihr nicht so viel Dreck reintragen sollt,” was published by Lektora in 2017; further texts have appeared in anthologies.
