Stefanie Sargnagel (born 1986) studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna in Daniel Richter’s class. Before becoming a freelance writer, she worked in a call center. Her books include “Binge Living. Call-Center-Monologe,” “Fitness,” “In der Zukunft sind wir alle tot,” “Iowa,” and “Opernball.” In 2016, she received the BKS Bank Audience Award at the Ingeborg Bachmann Prize competition.
