Patrick Salmen

Patrick Salmen (born 1985 in Wuppertal) is a German author, satirist and performing artist. He won the German-language Poetry Slam Championships in 2010 and was runner-up in 2011. He made his literary debut in 2011 with the short-story collection “Distanzen”. His other publications include “Tabakblätter und Fallschirmspringer”, “Das bisschen Schönheit werden wir nicht mehr los”, “Ich habe eine Axt”, “Genauer betrachtet sind Menschen auch nur Leute”, the poetry collection “Zwei weitere Winter”, the children’s book “Der gelbe Kranich” and the short-story collection “Und draußen die Welt”. Together with Quichotte, he published several puzzle books and formed the rap duo “Der Schreiner & Der Dachdecker”.
