Jana Heinicke

Jana Heinicke, born in Berlin in 1986, is an author of children’s books, essays, and theater texts. She studied creative writing at the Bern University of the Arts. Her work has received several awards and scholarships. Her first narrative nonfiction book, “Aus dem Bauch heraus. Wir müssen über Mutterschaft sprechen,” was published in 2022 and reached the SPIEGEL bestseller list.
