Florian Wintels (born 1993) performed in his first poetry slam in 2009 in the Grafschaft Bentheim region of Germany. He subsequently established himself as a poetry slam performer and also presented texts with musical elements. He won the Lower Saxony/Bremen championship in 2013, 2016 and 2017, as well as the German Box Poetry Slam Championship in 2015. He also reached the finals of several German-language championships and won a major poetry slam at the Deichbrand Festival in front of around 7,000 spectators.
