Elias Hirschl

Elias Hirschl, born in Vienna in 1994, is a writer, musician and poetry slam performer. In 2014, he won the Austrian Poetry Slam Championships. He received the Reinhard Priessnitz Prize in 2020. His debut novel was published in 2015; his works include »Hundert schwarze Nähmaschinen« (2017), »Salonfähig« (2021) and »Content« (2024). Hirschl has also published slam texts and short stories and has written for theatre and radio.
