Eva Czerwenka

Eva Czerwenka was born in Straubing in 1965. After completing secondary school, she studied sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, graduating with a diploma in 1992. From 1992 onward, she worked independently as an illustrator for various publishers and as a sculptor. Her first children’s book illustrations were created during her studies. She had been passionate about drawing since childhood and later particularly enjoyed modelling animals in clay.
