Luise Holthausen

Luise Holthausen was born in Nuremberg in 1959. After training as a bank clerk, she worked in a bank, a library and at a daily newspaper, among other positions. From 2002 onward, she worked as a freelance author, publishing mainly children’s books as well as stories for magazines and newspapers. She received the Preuschhof Prize for Children’s Literature for a book for beginning readers.
