Mareike Ammersken (born 1992) is an illustrator, author, and educator from East Frisia. After training as an educator and working in the field, she studied illustration at HAW Hamburg, completing her master’s degree there in 2024. Her bachelor’s project was published as a picture book by Dressler and marked her debut. Observations of nature and experiences from her work in education inform her emotional and imaginative illustrations.
