Martina Dierks

Martina Dierks was born in Berlin in 1953. She studied German and Slavic studies and subsequently worked, among other jobs, as a nurse, waitress, cemetery gardener, and on a production line in a chocolate factory. She began publishing books for children and young adults in 1987.
