Stefanie Gregg, born in Erlangen in 1970, studied philosophy, art history, German studies and theatre studies, and received her doctorate for a dissertation on laughter. She began her career in book purchasing at Bertelsmann and later worked as a management consultant at A. T. Kearney, specializing in media. After working as a journalist and publishing several nonfiction books, she turned to fiction. She writes novels, crime fiction and short stories. Her notable works include the “Nebelkinder” trilogy, as well as “Mein schlimmster schöner Sommer” and “Der Sommer der blauen Nächte”.
