Dina El-Nawab worked as a screenwriter and television editor. She wrote for series including »Großstadtrevier«, »Notruf Hafenkante« and »Morden im Norden«, and as an editor supervised crime series for ARD, including »Der Fahnder«. Her relaunch of »Der Fahnder« was nominated for the German Television Award. In addition to screenplays, she wrote children’s and young adult books. Her book »Eric Fail – Geht’s noch peinlicher?« was shortlisted for the Zurich Children’s Book Award in 2018. »Zusammen stirbt man weniger allein« was her first joint novel with crime and screenwriter Markus Stromiedel.
