Andreas Neumeister, born in 1959, is a German author and visual artist. He studied ethnology and has published several books with Suhrkamp. In 1996, he co-edited the reader »Poetry! Slam! Texte der Popfraktion« with Marcel Hartges. His visual works include the sound installation »Music for Fascist Architecture« (2006), the slide show and reading »Da Real World/Die wirkliche Welt« (2006), and the solo exhibition »The gift/Das Gift« (2008).
