Cord Riechelmann

Cord Riechelmann, born in Celle in 1960, studied biology and philosophy at Freie Universität Berlin. He taught courses on primate social behavior and the history of biological research. He also worked as a columnist and urban-nature reporter for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. His books include *Crows: A Portrait* (2013) and *Birds: On Singing, Courtship and Flight* (2021).
