Steffen Popp

Steffen Popp, born in Greifswald in 1978, is a poet and author. He studied philosophy and German literature in Dresden, Leipzig and Berlin. His works include the poetry collections “Wie Alpen” (2004), “Kolonie Zur Sonne” (2008) and “Dickicht mit Reden und Augen” (2013), as well as the novel “Ohrenberg oder der Weg dorthin” (2006), which was nominated for the German Book Prize. He has also translated poetry by Christian Hawkey and Ben Lerner. In 2014, he was awarded the Peter Huchel Prize.
