Til Mette, born in 1956, is the pseudonym of German cartoonist Gotthard-Tilmann Mette. He was among the co-founders of the taz Bremen local editorial office, where his cartoons appeared from 1986 onward. From 1995, he worked regularly for the German magazine stern. His drawings were also published in, among others, the US-based Funny Times and Austria’s Die Presse. Mette received the German Caricature Prize in 2009 and the German Cartoon Prize in 2013.
