Susanne M. Riedel was born in 1971 in Berlin-Lichterfelde. Before turning to writing, she worked in social care. She writes short stories and is also a photographer. In 2016, she self-published her first short-story collection, “Einen Herzschlag neben dem Alltag.” From 2018 onward, she performed at the Berlin literary stages “Der Frühschoppen” and “Reformbühne Heim & Welt.” During the COVID-19 pandemic, she and Horst Evers exchanged public letters on krisenkalender.de. Her book “Ich hab mit Ingwertee gegoogelt” was published by Satyr Verlag in 2021.
