Christine Prayon, born in Bonn in 1974, became known as an actress and cabaret performer and has also worked as an author. She reached a wider audience through her appearances as “Birte Schneider” on the German television program “heute-show,” where she was a cast member from 2011 to 2022. She also appeared on “Die Anstalt” and “extra 3.” Her cabaret programs received several awards, including the Goldener Stuttgarter Besen, the Deutscher Kleinkunstpreis, the Prix Pantheon and the Dieter-Hildebrandt-Preis.
