Horst Evers (born 1967 near Diepholz, Lower Saxony) is a German author and cabaret artist. He studied German and journalism in Berlin and initially worked, among other jobs, as a taxi driver and express delivery worker for the postal service. He became known for telling pointed stories about everyday life and for his collections of stories, novels and audiobooks. His works include “Der König von Berlin,” “Wäre ich du, würde ich mich lieben,” “Wer alles weiß, hat keine Ahnung” and “Zu faul zum Nichtstun.” His awards include the German Cabaret Prize, the German Kleinkunst Prize and the Salzburger Stier; he received the German Kleinkunst Prize in 2008.
