Arno Luik, born in 1955, is a German journalist and author. He worked as a reporter for GEO and the Berliner Tagesspiegel, served as editor-in-chief of the taz and deputy editor-in-chief of the Münchner Abendzeitung, and was a longtime contributor to Stern. In 2010, he received the Netzwerk Recherche “Leuchtturm” award for his reporting on the Stuttgart 21 railway project; in 2015, he was invited to testify as an expert before the German Bundestag on the project. In 2008, he was named “Cultural Journalist of the Year” for an interview with Inge and Walter Jens. His books include Schaden in der Oberleitung (2019) and Als die Mauer fiel, war ich in der Sauna (2022).
