Dietmar Wischmeyer (born in 1957 in Oberholsten am Wiehengebirge) is a German author, columnist and satirist. He worked in radio, created Frühstyxradio and developed the comedy series “Der kleine Tierfreund.” He also became known for collaborations with Oliver Kalkofe and Oliver Welke and for appearances on the television program heute-show. His publications include “Frank Bsirske macht Urlaub auf Krk” (with Oliver Welke), “Vorspeisen zum Jüngsten Gericht,” “Als Mutti unser Kanzler war” and “Immer is was, nie is nix.” Wischmeyer has received, among other honors, the German Radio Award, the German Comedy Award and the German Television Award.
