Fil

Fil, whose real name is Philip Tägert, was born in Berlin in 1966. At the age of ten, he won a writing competition organized by the Berliner Morgenpost, and at fourteen he published his first comics in the Berlin city magazine Zitty. After abandoning training as a fine artist, he worked as a cartoonist, comic artist and writer, and also became known as a stage entertainer and singer. His best-known works include the comic series “Didi & Stulle,” which first appeared in Zitty. Other works include “Always Ultra,” “Teufel und Pistolen,” and the novels “Pullern im Stehen” (2014) and “Mitarbeiter des Monats” (2016). A recurring companion in his stage shows was Sharkey, a plush hand-puppet shark.
